- What I love about teaching:
- I love that we get to teach life lessons to our students on a daily basis. If we as a school can plant the seed of God’s goodness, what a blessing!
- Best teacher moment:
- When former students come back to visit and tell me how something I’ve taught them helped in some way. That is so rewarding!
- Teaching philosophy:
- The 4Ps: Proper Planning Prevents Problems A healthy body is a healthy mind! Do what you’re supposed to do when you’re supposed to do it!
- What I would like to instill in my students:
- Organization and life skills. I want our student body to be responsible, accountable, and confident.
- My story:
- I have a supportive husband and two beautiful grown children that I adore. Prior to education, I worked as an Event Planner in SF for 17 years before I became an educator. I never thought this career was for me and started with the idea that I would only teach for five years. Well, many years later and I have loved every minute!
- Hobbies:
- I love to organize, exercise and walk my dog, Thor. I prefer organic food, the Farmer's Market, and fresh fruits and vegetables from my husband's garden. I love being outdoors, and the sun makes me happy. Dark chocolate and homemade treats are my weakness. :)
